French engineer who graduated from Ecole Centrale de Nantes, Telem is specialised in marine renewables energies. After four years living in Copenhagen, where he did an exchange in DTU and then worked in the wave energy industry, he's back in Nantes to join the FLOAWER project. Telem grew up in Guadeloupe, a french island in the Caribean and like to spend his time outdoor, playing rugby with friends, go surfing or hiking.
When asked about his motivations, Telem declared:
When asked about his motivations, Telem declared:
The floating wind industry has a huge potential and is going to grow significantly. The diversity of the technologies and the wildness of the offshore environment make it exciting. I am aiming, thanks to the FLOAWER training program, to get a broad knowledge of the research topic in this industry and contribute to its development. My research topic is the wind resource assessment in deep water, using the SEM-REV test site in France as a study case. I feel lucky to be part in such European project, I started two month ago and I already had the chance to meet the other PhD of the project several times. My team here in Centrale Nantes is also amazing and I am really excited for the next two years.
