The FLOAting Wind Energy netwoRk (FLOAWER) is primarily designed to train researchers in the required multi-disciplinary engineering fields to better develop Floating Offshore Wind technologies under the constraint of Levelized Cost Of Energy minimization.
on November 13, 2019
It is for this purpose that 13 Early-Stage-Researchers (ESR) will be recruited and registered in a PhD program. They will be integrated into the overall research program and benefit from the complementary expertise of 25 major academic and industrial partners in the offshore wind energy sector and will jump into the most exciting period of the life-cycle of an energy segment, namely, the pre-commercial stage.
These 13 ESRs are dispatched across the 4 scientific workpackages:
Candidates can apply online for several PhD positions within a scientific Work Package, indicating their order of preference. Applications should include a detailed CV, as well as Bachelor and Master degree transcripts.
The deadline for on-line registration is 31 December 2019. The selected candidates will be evaluated and interviewed by the Recruitment and Skill Progress Committee. FLOAWER is strongly committed to promoting equal opportunities and gender balance as part of the recruitment strategy. The expected start date is between April 2020 and October 2020.
